Learning about trackbacks

Clare Leibfarth from the Midwest chapter and I have been trying to get trackbacks working on our chapters’ websites. (Thanks, Clare!)

New blog for MLA communications

The MLA Board began a new blog, MLA Connections, to provide an easy way for the MLA Board and the membership to communicate with each other. From Mary Ryan’s welcome message:

The blog will include updates on priorities and major initiatives, Board activities and decisions, and activities of committees, task forces, sections, and chapters. The blog will also be used to respond to MLA-related postings on individual blogs, instead of just responding on each blog, which many people might not see.

I added its feed to mlaphil.org, so you’ll see recent posts in the right colum. You can also sign up for email notifications.

Latest posts from the new blog, MLA Connections, displayed in mlaphil.org's right column.

Thanks to Clare Leibfarth for making me realize our Technorati Profile needed tweaking.
