I’m doing the Web 2.0 101 course through MLA. I’m really glad I signed up for this. I’m becoming more familiar with different kinds of Web 2.0 software.
Have any comments about how it’s going? Please let the Chapter know how it’s going through your comments!
I created a LinkedIn account yesterday. If any chapter members have an account, please feel free to add me to your connections. I think it would be a great thing to have Chapter members connect with each other through this course.

Register today through April 14th, for the MLA-Phil Annual Meeting and Luncheon.
Come early for a tour of the Eakins Gallery.
The tour will be led by docent Susan Mooers, who is a research assistant in Jefferson’s Department of Molecular Physiology and Biophysics. Susan is also a weekend guide at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and past chairperson of its Weekend Guide Program.

On behalf of Gary and Kevin and our committees, it really means a lot to know that you care enough about communications within the chapter to help us help you by answering our questions about how you use our various communications media. We want to do right by you, and your participation tells us that you want us to do well.
First some demographics: about three-fourths of the respondents were members of MLA National, while nearly all were members of the Chapter. Many of you are members of other information-related organizations, including but not limited to the American Libraries Association, SLA or its local chapters, the Central PA Health Sciences Library Association, the American Society for Information Science & Technology, the Pennsylvania Library Association, and several others.
