The coming year

Hi Chapter members,

On July 27, the outgoing and incoming mlaphil board members met at Jefferson. We’re fortunate to have a creative and energetic group that is committed to shaping a great year for the chapter.  Lydia Witman, our Program Chair, and Jen de Richemond, Continuing Education Chair, have already surveyed members on their programming interests; watch for information on upcoming events. Ene Belleh, Web Chair, and Lydia Collins, Communications Chair, will be working with their committees to reinvigorate Chapter communications. Barbara Kuchan, Membership Chair, will be investigating streamlined registration and directory services. Priscilla Stephenson will be leading our Chapter’s participation in the 2012 Baltimore Quad Meeting with the Southern, MAC and NY/NJ chapters. And many members have answered the call to serve on committees to make all these activities possible.

Enjoy the rest of your summer and look forward to an active season with mlaphil!
