Goodbye, HealthWeb

HealthWeb, a one stop website for noncommercial health information will be deactivated on October 31st, 2007. HealthWeb, which began in 1994, was a collaborative project of over twenty Midwestern health sciences libraries. It was a reliable website for consumer health information which will be missed.

Drexel University Libraries/ Dash for Democracy

Join Drexel University Libraries in supporting a good cause and getting a little exercise!

On November 3, 2007, Drexel University Libraries will be teaming up with other local library workers and friends to participate in the Dash for Democracy 5K run/walk. Each team competing in the Dash chooses a cause to represent in the race. The team with the most registered participants running/walking for the same cause will receive $2,000 to donate to its chosen cause. There is no personal fundraising required. Read more» » »

I’ll start this off with where I work. On the Drexel University Health Sciences Libraries’ website, there will be a blog entry (update: here it is!) with a link to profiles of the librarians.
