Value of Libraries Webinar

On Tuesday, September 28, 2010, library representatives throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region (MAR) of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine attended an interactive webinar on the “Value of Library and Information Services in Patient Care Study.” This study is supported by funds of several members of MAR, including $2,000 of support from the Philadelphia Regional Chapter. Additional funding from the Medical Library Association Lindbergh Research Fellowship was awarded to enable participation from institutions outside MAR as well. The study seeks to measure the value and impact of health services library resources and services on patient care. Specific details can be found at http://nnlm.gov/mar/about/value.html.
