Would you like to write for the Chronicle?

A few events are coming up this spring, and if you will be attending any of them, why not share what occurred with members who missed them?  If you’re not a writer, and would prefer to take pictures instead, please send them along to me.   You would need to send a list of file names for each photo to identify the event and, as best you can, the folks in the photos.   Make sure you get their permission before snapping away.  I’m looking for writers and photographers for these events:

MLA Webcast on Web 2.0 Principles and Best Practices — March 5

Patient Safety Resource Seminar — March 31

MLA-Phil Annual Meeting and Luncheon — April 17

MLA’08 — May 16-21 If you would like to write about particular lecture, workshop, class, seminar, etc., at MLA ‘08 let me know.SLA 2008 — June 15-18

If you would like to write about particular lecture, workshop, class, seminar, etc., at SLA ‘08, let me know.

Will you be attending any other events this spring that you would like to write about? Let me know.

Articles should be two to four pages long, and your article would be due (with a digital photograph of yourself, if you have one), the week after the event. Articles will appear in the summer issue.

Additionally, is there a special project that your library has recently completed or will complete this spring? Why not share your experiences with your fellow chapter members? Your article, your photo, and any photos relevant to the project are due by July 9.

Contact me if you’re interested in writing for the Chronicle on any of the above topics.

Thanks!

 Rachel Resnick
