Librarians to Converge on D.C.

Save the Date: Librarians from all disciplines are invited to Washington, DC, for National Library Legislative Day (NLLD).

Check out the future

NLLD is a two-day event, May 1st and 2nd, in which people who care about libraries participate in advocacy and issue training sessions, interact with Capitol Hill insiders, and visit congressional member offices to ask Congress to pass legislation that supports libraries.

NNLD is sponsored by the American Library Association, the Special Libraries Association, and the District of Columbia Library Association. For more information, and to register for this important event:

Hi Gar, OK I blogged another event this time with an image. What do you think?

Hi, learned something else today - yes, use Photoshop to edit the images. Sorry about that. Linking back to origin’s website v. downloading to our server - yet something else I need to be aware of. I know how to save to my desktop/root of c on my PC, how do I save to our server?
Images not ours: we could put a disclaimer below the image, such as [Image Source: FirstAdmendmentCenter] similar to the way we gave credit to Temple, Urban Archives, for the images we used from old Bulletin issues in the Methodist book; I could write each time to the site administrator, asking permission. I guess we need protocols in place. I will contact Linda Katz at Drexel and ask her what our next step should be.

I added NLLD to the Events Calendar.
