Description:

Librarians must learn how to understand the business environment and assess the value that information expenditures bring to those who pay for them. This workshop provides practical “how-to” techniques using time/cost/quality tradeoffs necessary to present an effective budget that goes beyond mere numbers in justifying your information services. The session will also include interactive exercises. This is part two in a Quantum series called: Justifying the Value of Information Services.
