At the “Cut the Cord: Connecting to Our Mobile Users?” webcast participants learned about the value of mobile websites for users of handhelds, including IPhone, ITouch, and Google Android among others. For an example of a mobile website, see (on right) http://mobile.hsl.virginia.edu/
Please share your experience and/or ideas about the value of mobile websites.

I’m not a smartphone user myself. If you are, please let me know how this mlaphil.org website looks on your device.
I looked at this website on an itouch, and found it very hard to read as type size was about four point. Zoom in: you see a tiny portion of the size and are not oriented to the layout. Zoom out: the type size is approximately 1-2 point. I’m thinking a that a mobile website home page would have to be a collection of hyperlinks that you can click on and will take you to one item at a time.
