Dear GRC and Legislative Task Force Members:
This week, please contact your senators asking them to oppose H.R. 6164, “The National Institutes of Health Reform Act.”
The attached action alert contains background information on H.R. 6164, contact information, and a sample letter for your use.
We anticipate that before the week ends the Senate will take action on H.R. 6164, legislation that seeks to reauthorize the National Institutes of Health. MLA and AAHSL have serious concerns with many of the provisions contained in the bill as it is written.

We encourage chapter and section GRC liaisons to distribute this among your organizational units to garner a strong grassroots effort.
