Collection Assessment Librarian (Part-time, 21 hours per week)

Thomas Jefferson University has a challenging part-time opportunity (21 hours per week) for a librarian to coordinate the replacement of older print journals with electronic backfiles.

Duties & Responsibilities

Evaluates the content completeness and image quality of electronic journal backfiles compared to their print equivalents. Coordinates the assignment of review work to other library support staff. Compiles electronic resource use statistics from e-journals, e-books and databases on a monthly basis. Staffs the Information Desk on a weekly basis.

Qualifications

A Masters Degree in library science. Two years library experience preferred.

Strong organization and project management skills.

Excellent verbal and written skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
