MLA Grants and Scholarships

MLA offers a variety of grants and scholarships to assist qualified students in graduate library science programs and to enable practicing health sciences librarians to take advantage of opportunities for continuing professional development. The deadline for applications is December 1, 2010, unless otherwise noted. Information about MLA awards is available at <http://www.mlanet.org/awards/grants/>

Chapter Annual Report, 2009-2010

Philadelphia Regional Chapter – 2009/10 ANNUAL REPORT

The Board of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Medical Library Association met four times since April’s annual meeting. The Board’s transition meeting was held on July 14, 2009, and attended by outgoing and incoming board members. Subsequent meetings included an informal Chapter breakfast, held at the “3 by the Sea” Tri-Chapter Conference on October 8th, and meetings in Philadelphia on November 13th, 2009, and January 19th, 2010.
