The Philadelphia Regional chapter, Mid-Atlantic chapter, and New York/New Jersey chapter of MLA are developing a tri-chapter meeting to take place during the first week in October 2009 at Resorts Atlantic City Hotel and Casino. But we need your input to make this meeting a success. The deadline is October 1 November 1, 2008 for the information that we need from you:

First, what topics or speakers would you be interested in for continuing education courses, posters, speeches, and other programming?

Second, what should we call this meeting? ”Philadelphia Regional, Mid-Atlantic, and New York/New Jersey tri-chapter meeting 2009 Atlantic City” is a bit long, and not very catchy. We welcome your suggestions. Here are a few to think about and build on:

Trilogue 2009

Triumvirate 2009

Tri-chapter MLA 2009

Triple threat 2009

Triumph in AC

We’re also accepting logos (or even just ideas for logos if you can’t draw) to go along with the meeting name.

Third, what should be the theme of the meeting? Here are some concepts to get you going on this one:
Atlantic City, shore, seashore, shells, sand, surf, sun, fun, beach, boardwalk, hotel, casino, risk, gamble, fall, autumn, three, tri-, medical, health, healthcare, health information, medical, medicine, chapters, etc.
Some possibilities:

Under the boardwalk

Risks and Rewards

Fall into Fun

Sea and be Seen

Casino Royale

What do YOU think? Send your ideas to Rachel Resnick no later than October November 1, 2008.
