Join the Health Information Library Network of Northeastern Pennsylvania (HILNNEP) for a Continuing Education “Double Header” on Thursday, April 30, 2009 from 8am to 4pm. Instructors for “eXtreme Searching: Getting the Most from PubMed and Google” will be Karen Hesket, MS, AHIP, Instruction Coordinator at the Biomedical Library, UC, San Diego; and Arpita Bose, MLIS, Interim Associate Director/Outreach and Communications Coordinator, NN/LM Middle Atlantic Region. ”Geeks Bearing Gifts: Unwrapping New Technology Trends” will be taught by Gregg Headrick, MLIS, Technology Coordinator and Webmaster for the NN/LM Middle Atlantic Region. Cost for the two programs is $50, which includes lunch and 7 MLA credits. Deadline for registration is April 15 and seats are limited.
