How to register
In this animation, Dan registers for an account. Key points:
- Register with your real name
- You’ll get an immediate confirmation email with a password
- You can login and choose a new password if you wish
- Your account won’t have posting privileges until the webmaster updates it. Wait for a confirmation email or contact webmaster@mlaphil.org

How to post
In this animation, Dan posts about an upcoming event. Key points:
- Feel free to compose your post in the WordPress editor. If you cut-and-paste formatted text (e.g., from Microsoft Word or another website), switch to code view before pasting to strip out the formatting, then add it back using the WordPress toolbar
- If you’re posting about an event, use the “Event Editor” to add it to the calendar
- Select appropriate categories
- If your title is long, enter a short “Post Slug”
- Use “Save and Continue Editing” to view a draft then “Publish” when ready.
